David Nash sculpture marks Universitys 50th anniversary
A sculpture by one of Britain’s greatest living artists has been unveiled at the University of Warwick.
Warwick Commended for Student-Built Wind Turbine
The University was highly commended at this year's Green Gown Awards, thanks to the work of the student engineering society 'Engineers Without Borders', supported, and partially funded, by Estates Office staff. The team designed, constructed, and installed a 1kW wind turbine, and connected it to the grid so that it could help power a maintenance building, reducing Warwick's carbon emissions.

The University’s new Tennis Centre, based over at the Westwood campus, recently gained its ‘BREEAM Excellent’ (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) rating, making it the first building in Coventry to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating and the first Leisure Centre in the UK to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating.
