Abstract Submission

Guidance

All abstracts should be submitted using the abstract submission template as either a .docx or .pdf. Page size must be A4. Please ensure all images included in the abstract are of sufficient quality for online display and hard copy printing. Abstracts should be no longer than one page; Abstracts longer than a page will not be accepted for presentation.

All accepted abstracts will be included in the abstract booklet which will be available to download from the conference website.

If you submit an oral presentation and are unsuccessful you may be asked if you also wish to present your abstract as a poster.

All student posters will be considered for the poster prize.

JEOL Student Award

As part of the abstract submission process authors can choose if they wish for their presentation to be included in the JEOL sponsored session.

Please note, to be considered you must meet the following criteria:

• You are a doctoral student (typically in year 2 or beyond) or you are a first year post-doctoral scientist

and

• You have not previously been selected to present in the JEOL sponsored session
