Important Booking Information
Campus rooms will be offered on a first-come first-served basis.
Rooms are booked through our online instant booking platform. To secure your booking you'll need to accept and sign an accommodation agreement. Once you have signed and accepted, you'll be bound by the terms and conditions of the agreement.
It is a condition of booking that you meet the eligibility criteria, so please ensure you meet the eligibility criteria prior to booking a room. If you have booked a room and are not eligible your booking will be of no effect and your booking will be cancelled. If for any reason you no longer meet the eligibility criteria after you have booked a room, you are responsible for contacting our Allocation TeamLink opens in a new window to let us know. In any event, your booking will be cancelled.
Room Booking Guide
We want you to have the best possible experience when booking a room with Warwick Accommodation.
Follow the 6 steps below to navigate the campus booking process and find out what happens after you successfully book a room.
Step 1
Click the 'Book a room on campus' button and log in to the accommodation hub.
You should select the 'Prospective Students' option and register/log in with your Warwick ID and password.
Once logged in please make sure you have selected the correct academic year (2024/2025).
You will then need to select 'Create Application' and then select the 'New Medical School' application type from the drop down options.
Step 3
Now you'll need to confirm whether you have any specific accommodation requirements for any medical or disability needs you may have.
If you have specific accommodation requirements, don't forget you'll need to ensure you follow the relevant process and get supported by Wellbeing and Student Support by 24 July 2024.
Step 4
You'll then need to select an available room in Tocil Residences you would like to book.
Step 5
After you have confirmed you'd like to book a room in Tocil Residences, you will be shown a summary of your booking and your accommodation contract. You'll need to review the offer and complete the offer process by accepting your contract. You'll have 24 hours to complete the booking. Please remember that when you accept your contract, you are signing a legally binding document.
Step 6
You should receive a booking confirmation email within 12 hours after successfully booking a room.
We advise to check your emails including your spam/clutter/junk inbox to ensure you have received your booking confirmation email.
We encourage students to log into the online booking portal to see whether any rooms are showing as available. As we offer rooms for eligible MBChB students in Tocil Residences on a first-come first-served basis, rooms may become fully booked and no longer appear in the booking portal.
We find that on occasion, particularly later in August/September time towards the start of Term One, rooms may become available after being fully allocated. These rooms would then reappear in the booking portal, so we advise to check the booking portal for updates on availability.
If you log in to the booking portal and there are no rooms showing as available to book, it is advisable to check the booking portal periodically as rooms may reappear and become available to book after being fully allocated. As we do not guarantee rooms on campus for postgraduate students, you may need to look for private accommodation off campus. Many postgraduates choose to live off campus and whilst you can conduct your own search for private accommodation, we advise to read the University's guidance on how to stay safe and avoid private accommodation scamsLink opens in a new window.
The University also offers an exclusive property search platform Warwick StudentpadLink opens in a new window to help you search for properties if you need a helping hand. Please note that you'll need to have accepted your offer of study and be 'UF' in order to use Warwick Studentpad and search for suitable properties. We would also strongly recommend seeking private accommodation advice and guidance from Warwick Students' Union Advice CentreLink opens in a new window before signing a private accommodation contract.
You are eligible to book and secure accommodation on campus if you will be in the first year of a four year, graduate entry, MBChB registered course on a full time basis starting from September 2024.
Accommodation is not guaranteed for eligible MBChB students, however rooms on campus in Tocil Residences (44 week contract) are offered on a first-come first-served basis.

We advise you submit any medical evidence in advance of this deadline to ensure there is enough time for it to be assessed.
In addition to getting supoorted, you'll also need to book a room through our online booking portal. We will then check that your room allocation is suitable after you have successfully booked a room. MBChB students who are supported may need to be allocated to a suitable postgraduate residence where the let length may differ to the standard MBChB option.

We have a limited number of options for two students who wish to live together as a couple on campus.
Our Benefactors ApartmentsLink opens in a new window offer self-contained living and have double occupancy bedrooms which you may like to explore, however please be aware that both students must be fully registered Warwick students.
If you would like to book one of our Benefactors Apartments, you should not book a room through our online booking portal as there is a seperate booking process.
If you are planning to live at Warwick with your family, unfortunately Tocil Residences are not suitable as rooms are single occupancy.

You won't need to pay a deposit or booking fee in order to secure your accommodation on campus. You simply need to select and book an available room using our instant online booking portal by accepting your online contract at the time of booking, and your accommodation fees will be added to your Warwick student account.
