Student Mobility Accommodation 2024/2025

Eligibility Criteria

You are eligible to apply for accommodation if you are an incoming student known to Student MobilityLink opens in a new window.

You'll need:

To be registered at Warwick on a full or part year (one or two terms) undergraduate visiting or exchange (including Erasmus and Junior Year Abroad) programme which will commence between September 2024 and June 2025.

Have your seven digit University of Warwick ID number ready. This can be found in your study offer email. Please contact admissions if you do not have a University ID number.

There are different instructions depending on your course start date so please read this page carefully. Students are not guaranteed accommodation but we will endeavour to offer as many students as possible a room and we will take into account your preferences in the allocation process.

If you have a disability, mental health or medical condition you'll need to ensure you follow our specific accommodation requirementsLink opens in a new window process in addition to applying online for accommodation. You should ensure you complete this process no later than the deadline of 9 August 2024.

Your confirmation email and offer of accommodation will be sent to the contact email address on your student record. You should update your student record if your email address changes.

When to Apply

How to Apply

We want you to have the best possible experience when applying online with Warwick Accommodation.

Follow the 6 steps below to navigate the application process and find out what happens after you successfully apply for accommodation.

Step 1


Click the 'Apply for accommodation' button below and log in to the accommodation hub.

You should select the 'Prospective Students' option and register/log in with your Warwick ID number and password.

Step 2


Once registered and logged in please make sure you have selected the correct academic year (2024/2025).

You will need to click 'Create Application' and then select the 'Student Mobility' application type from the drop down options.

Step 3


You now need to answer some profile questions for us to better understand your habits and hobbies. This information is used to allocate you to a particular flat closer to move-in time if you are successful in securing accommodation on campus through our ballot process.

Step 4


Now you'll need to confirm whether you have specific accommodation requirements for any medical or disability needs you may have.

If you have specific accommodation requirements, don't forget you'll need to ensure you follow the relevant process and get supported by Wellbeing and Student Support by 9 August 2024.

Step 5


You'll then need to select your accommodation preferences. You have to choose six options and list them in order of preference.

Please carefully read through the information provided at this stage as it will outline any limitations to bear in mind when selecting your accommodation preferences.

Step 6


After you have confirmed your accommodation preferences you will be shown a summary of your application details.

Please carefully check your application details, including your accommodation preferences and their order are correct, before submitting your application for accommodation.

Step 7


You should receive a confirmation email containing your application details within 12 hours after successfully applying online.

We advise to check your emails including your spam/clutter/junk inbox to ensure you have received your confirmation email.
