There are different instructions depending on your course start date so please read this page carefully. Students are not guaranteed accommodation but we will endeavour to offer as many students as possible a room and we will take into account your preferences in the allocation process.

You should ensure you complete this process no later than the deadline of 9 August 2024.
Your confirmation email and offer of accommodation will be sent to the contact email address on your student record. You should update your student record if your email address changes.
When to Apply
If you have an offer of study from Warwick starting in the Autumn Term, you should apply for accommodation by 20 August 2024.
We will do our best to accommodate you where possible however rooms are offered subject to availability. Once you have applied for accommodation, you should hear from us in early September. If you have an offer of study from Warwick starting in the Spring Term, you should apply for accommodation in Term one and ensure you select the '2024/2025' academic year when applying online.

How to Apply
We want you to have the best possible experience when applying online with Warwick Accommodation.
Follow the 6 steps below to navigate the application process and find out what happens after you successfully apply for accommodation.
Applications are open.
Step 1
Click the 'Apply for accommodation' button below and log in to the accommodation hub.
You should select the 'Prospective Students' option and register/log in with your Warwick ID number and password.
Once registered and logged in please make sure you have selected the correct academic year (2024/2025).
You will need to click 'Create Application' and then select the 'Student Mobility' application type from the drop down options.
Step 3
You now need to answer some profile questions for us to better understand your habits and hobbies. This information is used to allocate you to a particular flat closer to move-in time if you are successful in securing accommodation on campus through our ballot process.
Step 4
Now you'll need to confirm whether you have specific accommodation requirements for any medical or disability needs you may have.
If you have specific accommodation requirements, don't forget you'll need to ensure you follow the relevant process and get supported by Wellbeing and Student Support by 9 August 2024.
Step 5
You'll then need to select your accommodation preferences. You have to choose six options and list them in order of preference.
Please carefully read through the information provided at this stage as it will outline any limitations to bear in mind when selecting your accommodation preferences.
Step 6
After you have confirmed your accommodation preferences you will be shown a summary of your application details.
Please carefully check your application details, including your accommodation preferences and their order are correct, before submitting your application for accommodation.
Step 7
You should receive a confirmation email containing your application details within 12 hours after successfully applying online.
We advise to check your emails including your spam/clutter/junk inbox to ensure you have received your confirmation email.

Frequently Asked Questions
Subject to availability of rooms, applications from visiting or exchange students are usually allocated through a computer ballot that will take place after 20 August 2024 for those starting in the Autumn term, which aim to match students to one of their selected accommodation preferences. We will then continue to allocate rooms on a rolling basis, subject to availability.
Students are housed together with undergraduate students in different flats to postgraduate students. In the event of high demand, students who do not require adaptations may be allocated to an adapted room.
Incoming visiting or exchange students coming to Warwick are not guaranteed accommodation, however we will endeavour to offer university-allocated accommodation to as many students as possible.
If you have an offer of study from Warwick starting in the Autumn Term and you successfully apply for accommodation by 20 August 2024, you should hear from us in early September. If you have not heard anything from us by 9 September you can email accommodation@warwick.ac.uk.
If you have an offer of study from Warwick starting in the Spring Term and you have applied for accommodation, you should hear from us in December 2024.

If you are offered accommodation, you'll be given a contract for the time you are here at Warwick. If you have an offer of study from Warwick and are only here for one or two terms, please disregard the let lengths advertised on our website on each individual residence webpage. You should also bear in mind that some of our residences offer 35 week let lengths which do not include the Easter vacation period.

We advise you submit any medical evidence in advance of this deadline to ensure there is enough time for it to be assessed.
In addition to getting supported, you'll also need to apply for accommodation and confirm within your application that you have specific accommodation requirements and you agree to follow the process to get supported. We work closely with Wellbeing and Student Support to check specific requirements and room allocations are suitable should you be allocated to a residence on campus. Students who are supported for specific accommodation requirements will be prioritised for an offer of accommodation on campus however this will be subject to availabillity.
Students coming to Warwick to do an internship or traineeship placement should apply for part-year accommodationLink opens in a new window from mid-October time for accommodation from November onwards.
