Lakeside is a genuinely lovely environment and good space to be in. I miss it an awful lot. The rooms are bright and comfortable, with plenty of space to both work and relax. I adored it there and would honestly go back in a heartbeat.

Lakeside is, as the name suggests, next to a lake so there is nice scenery and nature surrounding the block. We also have really good running paths surrounding the accommodation which is a huge plus for me as I am a big runner.

When can I book a room in Lakeside for my 4 week Pre-Sessional English course?

Students must have an unconditional firm offer of study (UF) for the 4 Week Pre-Sessional English course in order to be eligible to book accommodation on campus for the programme.

How do I book a room?

If you are interested in booking a room in Lakeside Residences with a 54 week contract, please get in touch with our Allocation Team for bookings.

Rooms are offered on a first-come first-served basis and are subject to availability and eligibility.

The team will be able to provide you with the necessary steps to proceed with your booking.

Do I need to separately book a room for my full year postgraduate degree?

As we offer rooms in Lakeside Residences with a 54 week contract, you won't need to book a room for your full year postgraduate degree. Your contract duration includes the 4 week Pre-Sessional English course and you can stay in your room after your Pre-Sessional English course finishes for your postgraduate degree. Your contract will finish on Saturday 12 September 2026.

What are the cancellation terms? How do I pay for my accommodation on campus?

You won't need to pay a deposit or booking fee in order to secure your postgraduate accommodation on campus. You simply need to book your room by emailing the Allocation Team and your accommodation fees will be added to your Warwick student account.

Please be advised that all contracts start on a Saturday, but you can move in to your residence on any day over the arrivals period.
