Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) launches on 15 April

The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) is an annual survey run by AdvanceHE. The survey helps us to better understand our postgraduate taught students’ experience across a number of areas including, teaching and learning, skills development and assessment and feedback. Data from PTES allows us to compare our postgraduate provision against others in the sector, at both a discipline and institutional level and use this information to identify areas of strength, as well as to address areas for development.

This year, the PTES survey will open to students on 15 April 2024.  As always, we offer a centralised communications campaign alongside departmental activities to help encourage student participation and achieve a high response rate. Please request printed materials for your department by Wednesday 27 March. We will continue to provide targeted guidance for those departments who need additional support throughout the fieldwork period.

All departmental contacts for PTES should now have received an invite to an online briefing on 19th March, 12.00-1.00pm, which will include guidance on student eligibility, target lists, campaign planning and incentives. If you have not and would like to attend, or if you have any other questions at all about PTES 2024, please visit our dedicated webpage or contact a member of our team at studentsurveys@warwick.ac.uk. We are happy to help.
