Boards of Examiners briefings and training sessions
A range of briefing / training sessions for key roles relating to Boards of Examiners will be taking place from late April to mid-May. Invitations to sign up will be sent to staff nominated in key roles via Board of Examiner memberships. However, any staff who sit on or support Boards of Examiners are welcome to attend any of the sessions that they feel are relevant. There are sessions for new Chairs of Boards of Examiners, Examination Secretaries, Mitigating Circumstances Recommendation Panel chairs and staff who submit DRLs (decision record logs). 23/24 is the first academic year that third year undergraduate finalists will be considered under Rules for Award and staff involved in supporting these Boards are particularly encouraged to attend a briefing session. Exam Secretaries | Briefing on decision making for Exam Secretaries of UG potential finalists Boards of Examiners. Due to the first year of decision making under Rules for Award, it is recommended that all secretaries to undergraduate final year boards attend a briefing. |
