The figure currently stands at 71.41%, with over 4000 responses. Thank you to colleagues across all departments who have made a sterling effort in promoting the survey to their students. Some of the innovative ways that departments have generated student engagement have been captured here – karaoke, fancy dress and Rolf the Cat all feature (separately).

The survey is a rich source of information for helping to improve the student experience, and so we are encouraged that over 70% of students have taken the time to respond and provide feedback. Results for NSS 2024 will be released on 10^th July 2024, and we will be in contact in due course to share how we plan to disseminate this information.

As one survey comes to a close, another one opens. The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) 2024 is now live, and will be running until 13^th June. A bank of resources has been compiled and shared on our staff pages, to support departments through the fieldwork period. Historically, PTES generates a much lower response than the NSS, so we have worked with colleagues from our own community and from the Open University to think about how to better reach our non-traditional learners.
