Secretary - the Assistant Secretary should step in, or one of the Internal Reviewers could act as Secretary if there is no Assistant Secretary.
Chair - reschedule the meeting, or an Internal Reviewer could act as Chair. In the event of the meeting going ahead, request that the Chair provides a written brief for the panellist who is temporarily replacing them.
Internal Reviewer - if both are unavailable, reschedule the meeting. If one is unavailable, the meeting can go ahead, but request that the unavailable reviewer produces a written summary of their lines of inquiry to the panel.
External Reviewer - the Chair is to cover the External Reviewer's lines of enquiry, and follow up with the External Reviewer afterwards. Request that the External Reviewer provides a written summary of their lines of enquiry.
Student - an Internal Reviewer to cover the student lines of enquiry, and follow up with the student afterwards. Request that the student provides a written summary of their lines of enquiry.
