Warwick Conferences' Justine Meek Wins Positive Impact Award at Greengage Sustainability Awards 2025

Warwick Conferences is celebrating a significant achievement as colleague Justine Meek has been honoured with a Positive Impact Award at the Greengage Sustainability Awards 2025. This accolade recognises individuals making substantial contributions to sustainability within the events and hospitality industry.

Justine who is Agency Relationship Manager at Warwick Conferences, has been instrumental in advancing Warwick Conferences' sustainability initiatives. Her leadership within the Sustainability Working Group has led to impactful projects, including the development of a comprehensive Sustainability Roadmap and a Carbon Calculator tool designed to help clients measure and reduce the carbon footprint of their events. Additionally, she took part in the planting of over 200 tree saplings in December 2023.

Beyond her role at Warwick Conferences, Justine actively participates in industry-wide sustainability efforts. She is a member of the Greengage ECOsmart Inner Circle, collaborating with other sustainability-focused venues to address environmental challenges in the conference and events sector. Her involvement extends to speaking engagements and participation in panels focused on sustainable practices in the industry.

In addition to Justine's individual recognition, Warwick Conferences was proud to be a finalist in the Meeting/Event Venue category at the same awards. While the team did not secure the top prize, being shortlisted underscores their ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable practices

This recognition follows Warwick Conferences' receipt of the ECOsmart Platinum status from Greengage Solutions, highlighting their dedication to sustainability within the industry.
