Mathematical Sciences Building - Upgrade Works to Accessible Facilities

The ground floor accessible toilet and shower in the Mathematical Sciences Building (MSB) has been upgraded to include a full-room ceiling hoist, wash & dry toilet, adult-sized changing bench and privacy screen. This is to make the space into a "Space to Change", a smaller version of a "Changing Places" facility, and is the first wash & dry toilet available on campus, outside of accommodation. The room is accessible with a RADAR Key, available on the nationwide scheme to those who require access. The toilet is still in a left-hand transfer corner layout so will be suitable for independent users as well as those who may need to be assisted with a hoist.

This facility is part of a set of 6 Changing Places facilities that are being introduced across campus. With 2 already open in the Sports and Wellness Hub, 3 more are under construction in the new Warwick Arts Centre extension (Central Campus), Faculty of Arts building (Central Campus) and IBRB (Gibbet Hill Campus) as well as this hybrid version within MSB.
