Parking restrictions during student arrivals

The University has started welcoming students to our campus accommodation for the new academic year, with the majority expected to arrive between Thursday 23 and Sunday 26 September. This is a significant logistical operation and involves collaboration between the Community Safety Team, Residential Life, Warwick Accommodation, Estates, and the Welcome Team.

During this period we are asking staff to avoid certain car parks which will be used by students and those travelling to campus with them.

Please try to avoid using:

  • Kirby Corner Car Park (ground floor) (CP404) – the accessible and electric charging bays closest to University House will remain in operation for building users. The upper floors of KCCP will be accessible, but you may encounter delays accessing the car park, as this is where all new students will arrive to collect their keys. We advise using alternative car parks wherever possible.
  • Car Park 6 (CP205)
  • Car Park 8 (CP201 & CP202)
  • Lakeside Village Car Park (CP301)

Lynchgate multi-storey car park (CP503), Car Park 15 (CP207) and Car Park 12 (CP401) will be largely unaffected and provide good parking for Central Campus and University House.
