Under a full closure of the A46 at the Stoneleigh junction last weekend the contractor successfully took delivery of 6 pairs of 36 m long bridge beams.

They have one final set of beams to take delivery of this year and, can now confirm they will undertake this work on Saturday 11^th and Sunday 12^th December 2021. It will require a closure of the A46 between Thickthorn island at Kenilworth and Stivichall interchange at Coventry, as they are taking receipt of fewer beams this time, they are able to limit the closure of the A46 to 8pm on Saturday 11^th to 10am on Sunday 12^th December. Should the weather be favourable, they hope the A46 could be opened before the advertised time.
