New Bus Service

We are pleased to announce the introduction of a new bus service in partnership with National Express operating from Eastern Green and Tile Hill to the University campus.

The new 14/14A service, which is being funded by the University as part of our new sustainable transport strategy to develop more direct bus routes to campus for our staff and students, commenced on 1st September and will provide a 20 minute service to campus during peak times on Monday to Saturday. The new service operates from Coventry City Centre and the University has worked closely with National Express to design the timetable and route so that it will provide public transport for as many staff and students residing along the route as possible. The new bus service can also be used by the wider community and supports the University’s Community Engagement strategy.

The University has negotiated a preferential fare for our staff and students in possession of a University ID card who will pay just £1 for each single journey on the route compared to the current normal single fare of £2.20. All other fare prices and ticket options are available on the service as well as payment options including cash and contactless.
