Car parking restrictions: Tuesday 20th - Sunday 25th September

Student Arrivals – Parking Restrictions

The University has started welcoming students to our campus accommodation for the new academic year, with the majority expected to arrive between Thursday 22nd and Sunday 25th September. This is a significant logistical operation and involves collaboration between the Community Safety Team, Warwick Accommodation, Estates, and the Welcome Team. During this time we are asking staff to avoid certain car parks which will be used by students and those travelling to campus with them.

Please try to avoid using:

  • Kirby Corner Car Park will be in use as the main arrival point and key collection location for all students living on campus. The ground floor will be closed for parking between Tuesday 20th and Sunday 25th September (inclusive). The accessible and electric charging bays closest to University House will remain in operation for building users. The upper floors of KCCP will be accessible but we advise using alternative car parks wherever possible as you may encounter delays accessing the car park.
  • Car Park 6 (Bottom of Health Centre Road)
  • Car Park 8 (Multi-storey and flat car park next to the Junction Building)
  • Lakeside Village Car Park

Lynchgate Multi-Storey car park, Car Park 15 (on Academic Loop Road) and Car Park 12 (next to Westwood Games Hall) will be largely unaffected and provide good parking for Central Campus and University House and staff are encourage to use these alternatives wherever possible
