Permanent closure of Car Parks 9 & 10 over the summer

Partial closure of Car Park 10
From Monday 24th June, a section of Car Park 10 will be closed to support the trial trench surveys. Alternative parking can be located within the remainder of Car Park 10, Kirby Corner car parkLink opens in a new window and Car Park 15Link opens in a new window.
Temporary closure of Car Park 13 from the 1st July 2024
From the 1st July 2024, Car Park 13 will be closed for approximately three weeks for resurfacing and essential repairs. Alternative parking is available on Westwood Campus including Car Park 12, Car Park 14, and Avon road.
UPDATE: Temporary road closure of Lord Bhattacharyya Way: Monday 24th, Wednesday 26th & Thursday 27th June
On Monday 24th June, Wednesday 26th & Thursday 27th June, Lord Bhattacharyya Way will be closed between 9pm - 6am to enable essential resurfacing works. Vehicles will not be able to access the following locations during this period:
- Rear of the IMC
- Car Park 15
- MSB
- Rear of Zeeman
Diversions will be in place for all other locations, with access to Claycroft & Car Parks 8/8a via Lynchgate road (purple route) & all other central campus locations through car parks 9 & 10 (blue route).
Give & take traffic management on Leighfield Road: Tuesday 28th - Friday 31st May
Between Tuesday 28th May – Friday 31st May, “give and take” traffic management will be in place on Leighfield Road (including the pathway) between the Cryfield Village Car Park & Cryfield Pavilion to support the installation of a duct.
