Our contractors successfully filled the swimming pool at the Sport and Wellness Hub for the first time. This test filling marks an important milestone for the Hub, and makes for an interesting sight - see our artistic photo.

As ever, we were keen to minimise our impact on the environment during this process, so the approach we took was to pumped rain water that we collected into the pool over a 1 week period. Making use of recycled harvested rain water in this way meant we saved circa 1.3 million litres of water - about £3,900 worth!
