Residences and Campus Cleaning's new Senior Operations Manager
Introducing Tim Woodman-Clarke: our new Senior Operation Manager (Residences and Campus Cleaning) Estates department.
Tim is originally from a hotel background but worked at Nottingham Trent University for 24 years where he was the Head of Student Accommodation Services and Community Liaison.
He is responsible for leading, managing and developing a team of 500 people which encompasses management of the residences and the cleaning of the buildings on campus, both academic and residential, to ensure that our students live in a safe, friendly and well managed campus environment. Tim will be responsible for delivering a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement whilst delivering value for money for our students and staff.
Tim, who started at Warwick in December said: “I immediately noticed a genuine sense of pride from people working here. To really understand the department and culture, I was able to spend time working with the teams in Arts Centre, Bluebell residences and the Oculus.
"I think the induction and training that the teams receive is the best I’ve ever seen. I was really impressed by the respect for Health and Safety and the professionalism shown by all of the teams.
"My main aim is to understand the business and to help identify improvements which will benefit both the student and the staff experience, and I look forward to meeting more of my colleagues in the coming months, as we strive together to make the accommodation and cleaning services the very best in class.”
