In response to the ever growing number of students who want to live on the campus after their first year of study, we’re delighted to announce that construction will start soon on an extra 267 ensuite rooms. Work will start adjacent to the existing Sherbourne residences on the opposite side of the tennis courts from late March 2016, and should be finished by summer 2017.

Changes to support the construction

The following changes will come into effect in late March:

• All parking along Leighfield Road will be removed to avoid the risk of collision with large vehicles.
• Overflow parking on Leighfield Road will also be suspended.
• Car park 3 (just off Leighfield Road) will be available for pay and display parking as well as parking for permit holders.

Additional parking is due to open at the start of autumn term when demand increases

Logistics in the Cryfield/Lakeside Village area

All construction traffic will access the site via Bluebell roundabout and Leighfield Road. The site will be hoarded off to limit the visual impact of the work.
