Wellbeing Week in Estates

From 4 – 8 February Warwick held a Wellbeing Week to promote the support which is available and communicate key messages, including healthy lifestyles, physical health and activity, mental health, and financial wellbeing.

The whole week was underpinned by a theme of Dignity and Respect and the impact this can have on our wellbeing.

As part of PULSE the Estates Fabric, Electrical and Mechanical teams arranged some events to support this initiative.

On Wednesday 6 February the teams had the opportunity to use the pool, have a walk around campus or have a game of 5-a-side football.

Builders, painters and carpenters took some time out from their day jobs to take on entirely new roles on the pitch. The teams consisted of:

‘Legendary’ Martin Peters

‘The Dazzling’ Darren Pinks

‘Crazy’ Carl Collins

‘The Running Man’ Ryan Hoey

‘Dynamic’ Danny Peters

Sami ‘Hit the Target’ Hicks

Steve ‘The Engine’ Clark

Chris ‘Tattoo’ Turner

Dave ‘The Magician’ Matthews

‘Big’ Pearse Towers

Alex ‘Courtois’ Kendal

Kaan ‘The Salvager’ Salvatore

Scott ‘To Hotty’ Wardle

Chris ‘The Stopper’ Wardle

Jordan ‘Fancy’ Clancy

‘Tricky’ Tom Keating

The events were a great success, with fun had not only by the players, but also by the spectators.
