The Advanced Materials Manufacturing Centre (AMMC), which was built from £5m funding from HEFCE, provides a place for our researchers to test manufacturing and assembly processes in realistic conditions.
The ASRC supports our researchers in developing new processing technologies to transform the (UK) steel industry into a low energy, resilient manufacturing base for high value-added advanced steels, with a focus on strip steels.
