Removal Crate Request

The Facilities Team have a stock of crates for short term loan to departments.

The approximate dimensions of the crates are as follows:

• External dimensions: L710 x W460 x H368mm
• Internal dimensions: L597 x W374 x H330mm

The aim of this system is to provide departments with the opportunity to borrow crates periods of time to facilitate the moving of items. We also have a supply of York cages that can be borrowed for larger items.

If you would like to make use of this service, please raise a portering request through this link Invida. Please ensure you raise two separate request, one for delivery and one for collection.

Please bear in mind that the Estates Porters require 7 days' notice for all relocation/removal requests.
