The Facilities Team have 20 crates in stock for short term loan to departments.

The approximate dimensions of the crates are as follows:

• External dimensions: L710 x W460 x H368mm
• Internal dimensions: L597 x W374 x H330mm

The aim of this system is to provide departments with the opportunity to borrow crates for a maximum of one week, free of charge. External crate hire would normally be required at a cost (LC3 crates costs £0.45 + VAT each per week with a fixed delivery cost of £53 + VAT and a collection cost of £53 + VAT for any quantity).

If you would like to make use of this service, please raise a portering request through this link New Requests - Q2 (warwick.ac.uk). Please ensure you raise two separate request, one for delivery and one for collection.

Please bear in mind that the Estates Porters require 7 days' notice for all relocation/removal requests.

If you fail to return the crates to us in the agreed time frame your department will be charged. The current replacement cost is £20 + VAT per crate. We require a cost centre from you in the event of such happening, otherwise there will be no charge for this service.
