Recent Changes to the University Calendar
Minor update to Regulation 42
On 11 November 2025, the Senate approved with immediate effect a minor amendment to Regulation 42: Governing Academic Appeals, 5.3 to reflect the change of name from Faculty Education Committee to Faculty Education and Student Experience Committee.
Updates to Regulation 10
On 5 November 2025, the Senate approved with immediate effect several minor amendments to Regulation 10: Examination Regulations to reflect current practice and add reference to smart watches.
Updates to Ordinance 4.4
On 10 October 2025, the Council approved revisions to Ordinance 4.4: Powers of the Council with immediate effect, to demonstrate more clearly the powers and regulatory responsibilities of Council.
Update to Regulation 23
On 1 October 2025 the Senate approved with immediate effect an amendment to Regulation 23: Regulation Governing Student Misconduct and Student Misconduct Panels to reflect that the team name of "Human Resources" has been updated to "People Team".
Update to Regulation 23
On 25 June 2025 the Senate approved amendments to Regulation 23: Regulation Governing Student Misconduct and Disciplinary Committees, related to updating the names of the Discipline Committee and Student Discipline Appeals Committee to the Student Misconduct Panel and the Student Misconduct Appeals Panel respectively. These changes were made to the Regulation on 1 October 2025. The changes were noted by the Council on 9 July 2025.
