Recent Changes to the University Calendar
Updates to Regulation 34
On 26 April 2023 the Senate approved revisions to Regulation 34: Determination of Fitness to Practise to remove references to the Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy which has been discontinued.
These updates took place with immediate effect and will be noted by the Council at its meeting in May 2023.
Updates to Regulation 22
On 26 April 2023 the Senate approved revisions to Regulation 22: Library Regulations to allow for the removal of fines for overdue recalled books.
These updates took place with immediate effect and will be noted by the Council at its meeting in May 2023.
Update to Regulation 23
On 25 January 2023 the Senate approved with immediate effect an amendment to Regulation 23: Student Disciplinary Offences, to remove section 9.1.2 from the regulation in order to reflect current process and provide clarity to the students navigating the process.
These changes will be noted by the Council on 8 February 2023.
Updates to Regulations 7, 12, 19, 21, 32, 34, 37, 40, and 41
On 1 December 2022 the Vice-Chancellor approved on behalf of Senate with immediate effect updates to Regulations 7, 12, 19, 21, 32, 34, 37, 40, and 41 to remove instances of gendered language.
These updates took place with immediate effect and will be noted by the Council at its meeting in February 2023.
Updates to Regulation 27
On 21 November 2022 updates to Regulation 27 On-Campus Residential Accommodation Regulations were approved on behalf of Senate with immediate effect, to reflect nomenclature changes within the Residential Community Team. These changes will be reported to the Senate and Council at their meetings in January and February 2023 respectively.
