Applications to become a member of a Faculty Education and Student Experience Committee
Applications are invited for Faculty community members to join their Faculty's Education and Student Experience Committee (FESEC). Both the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Social Sciences are inviting expressions of interest for up to two academic members to join their Faculty's Education and Student Experience Committee (FESEC). More information about these committees, including terms of reference and email contact details for the secretariats, are available here:
Each FESEC meets once per term and these meetings have been scheduled as follows:

A reasonable expectation regarding time commitment is approximately four hours per meeting, which includes the actual meeting time as well as time to read the papers, which are circulated via SharePoint a week in advance of each meeting.
Nominations Process
- Nominations should be submitted using the webform below by 16:00 on Wednesday 22nd October 2025. Each nomination must include a statement of up to 300 words, tailored to the specific committee. The Senate Nominations Panel is interested in the unique experiences you have that help you bring a new and helpful perspective to the committee.
- Nominations will be reviewed by the relevant Chair of Faculty and Deputy Chair (Education), who will then make recommendations to the Senate Nominations Panel to review and approve.
