Applications to become a member of the Student Success Subcommittee

The Student Success Subcommittee has responsibility for creating an inclusive education and experience where students are welcomed from early point of contact and enabled to succeed to their full potential. The Subcommittee takes a holistic view across the educational and wider aspects of student life, prioritising engagement, inclusion, connection, wellbeing, and opportunities for students to engage in and be recognised for their intellectual, social and cultural contribution at Warwick and beyond. The Subcommittee has a remit across and champions the breadth of the University programmes and modes of delivery.

Applications are invited for the committee vacancies listed below. These include two vacancies for academic staff with research expertise pertinent to the Subcommittee’s remit to join the Student Success Subcommittee (SSS). There are four SSS meetings scheduled for the 2025/26 academic year listed below:

A reasonable expectation regarding time commitment is approximately four hours per meeting, which includes the actual meeting time as well as time to read the papers, which are circulated via SharePoint a week in advance of each meeting.

Nominations Process

  • Nominations should be submitted using the webform below by 16:00 on Wednesday 22nd October 2025. Each nomination must include a statement of up to 300 words, tailored to the specific committee. The Senate Nominations Panel is interested in the unique experiences you have that help you bring a new and helpful perspective to the committee.
  • Nominations will be reviewed by the SSS Secretariat and a member of the Senate Nominations Panel, who will then make recommendations to the Senate Nominations Panel to review and approve.
