Release notes for web applications

We released SiteBuilder 2.519 on Wednesday 12^th October 2022. In this version we:

• Fixed a bug that produced an error when trying to view a webgroup's member list when editing page permissions.
• Continued to work on the new Bookings page template. When this is available, we'll provide a detailed summary of the changes on the SiteBuilder noticeboard.

We released SiteBuilder 2.518 on Thursday 6^th October 2022. In this version:

• We released a new version of the Resource Bookings page template, which replaces the previous version. The new version includes:
  • Accessibility improvements to make it easier for users browsing using assistive technologies, such as screen readers, and users browsing using only a keyboard.
  • Improved display on small screens, such as mobile devices.
  • Easier identification and management of repeated periods of unavailability for editors.
• We fixed some bugs affecting dialogs in SiteBuilder forms, including an issue which prevented users from adding or editing form data sets, and also some problems which affected how those dialogs displayed to form editors (including users in Safari).
• We fixed a bug which prevented users from being able to overwrite files, when selecting to keep the properties of the original file(s).

N.B. Since releasing this change we temporarily restored the previous version of Resource Bookings while investigating some issues. We will re-enable the new version as soon as possible, and provide a more detailed summary of the changes in an upcoming noticeboard post.

We released Tabula 2022.9.3 on Wednesday 28^th September 2022. In this version, we:

• Fixed an issue on Generate resits pages where long assessment component names pushed other parts of the table out of alignment.
• Fixed a bug that displayed incorrect module results on the Calculate module marks page when resit assessment components differed from original assessment components.
• Fixed a bug that stopped photos from appearing in student information pop-ups.
• Solved an issue that produced an error message if the Save button on Edit small groups > Edit event pages was clicked more than once.
• Fixed a bug that caused problems with the layout of profile pages.
• Made year marks for students who have taken resits visible to them from the relevant release date for resit marks.
• Categorised the bank holiday on 19^th September 2022 as a non-working day to ensure accurate calculation of feedback deadlines, for example.

We released SiteBuilder 2.517 on Monday 26^th September 2022. In this version we:

• Fixed an issue where the content of some page templates remained available to assistive technologies when a pop-up was displayed, which could cause confusion for users of screenreaders, for example.
• Added keyboard controls for sortable list questions to improve accessibility on Quiz pages.
• Fixed a bug that caused event lists to stop working after converting a page to the Components Editor if the linked calendar was using an absolute URL.
• Solved an issue that produced an error message when attempting to delete forwarding pages.

We also released the 2.516.1 hotfix on Tuesday 20^th September 2022, in which we:

• Fixed an issue where editing a Custom HTML component in the Components Editor unintentionally removed existing script tags.
• Fixed a bug that prevented users from viewing content when one Tab component was placed inside another on a Components Editor page.
• Updated the default text appended to privacy notices on forms.

We released Tabula 2022.9.2 on Wednesday 14^th September 2022. In this version we fixed a bug where the Safari browser would attempt to load the same image multiple times.
