TEALfest 2021

What is TEALfest?
Following the successful inaugral TEALFest in May 2020, the LDCU is pleased to announce the second technology enhanced active learning (TEAL) festival.
TEALfest is an online festival for sharing technology enhanced active learning practice, research, ideas and experiences.
Throughout the week we will have a series of events from colleagues and guest speakers.
When is TEALfest 2021?
Monday 10th May to Friday 14th May 2021.
TEALfest 2021 was originally scheduled for February 2021 but, given the current situation, has been postponed.
Call for proposals 2021
Call for proposal will open from Monday 7th December 2020 and close at 23:45 on Friday 23rd April. Proposal outcomes will be shared by 5pm Friday 30th April.

Session Formats
The format of the event is designed to be multimodal to encourage participation in a variety of different formats. Below are some examples of the types of sessions that will be available:
Online Workshop - Up to 60 minutes (including at least 15 minutes for discussion or Q&A)
Webinar - 30/60 minute (including at least 5/10 minutes for discussion or Q&A)
Edit-a-thon - 60 minute
Wildcard - 30/60 minute (including at least 5/10 minutes for discussion or Q&A)
Asynchronous activity - participate any time
