As part of my new drive to better understand how WSO is being used, I’ve
added a couple of tweaks to WSO, Userlookup and the SSOClient code.
Userlookup and SSOClient will now send version numbers back to WSO
whenever they do anything. As I get people to upgrade to new versions, I can
keep track of who has and has not upgraded so that I know where I stand in
terms of compatibility.
Obviously not everyone uses the Java code, but I can keep a reasonable
idea of how they are using WSO by looking at the User-Agent header that gets
sent with web requests to WSO.
So, from SSOClient 1.5.3 and Userlookup 1.4.2 onwards, I can track version
numbers so I would encourage everyone to please upgrade as soon as you can.
Thanks Kieran
