Any new or replacement University ID card issued will need to be activated for full access to work. Within 10 minutes of the card being printed please make sure it is held against any main entrance reader located on campus for approx 10-15 seconds for an update to process. The reader will flash blue whilst updating and green when completed. Your card should then work.
For printing purposes, your card will take from 12 hours to 24 hours before it can be used.
Replacement ID cards are issued at University House Reception (1000 – 1500 Monday to Friday) and at Student Services (Ground Floor Senate House) between 0800 – 2000 Monday to Friday and 1000 – 1800 at the weekends and bank holidays.
Student Services cannot place access onto cards, we can only reprint, therefore if this is the service you require please enquire with your line manager/department.
