MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship 2026 Training

Deadline to apply: Friday 8 May at 12pm. Please apply as early as possible as applications may close early if sufficient applications are received before the deadline.

Overview

Research and Impact Services are commissioning consultancy training offered by Dr. Juliane Sauer (OxygenEUm) for applicants to the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2026 callLink opens in a new window (deadline 9 September 2026). Fellows should be applying with Warwick as the host institution. See the leaflet Link opens in a new windowfor further information.

The training will teach applicants how to write a competitive MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships proposal. It will provide a thorough understanding of the programme, its rules and expected impacts and will cover all parts of the proposal template. The 3 evaluation criteria are referred to and explained and examples are provided.

The training is offered through an e-learning platform (MSCA Academy), with access available until the day after the call deadline. The training consists of: a pre-recorded introduction session, approx. 15 video lectures totalling approx. 3h 45 min which explain how to write the different parts of the proposal, participation in 2 interactive group work exercises (online) and a final interactive wrap-up session (online). There will also be opportunities to ask questions of the trainer and support material is provided, including a proposal outline template. The outline can be used as the basis for writing the proposal.

  • There are a maximum of 38 places available on the training.
  • Due to the limited places, a selection process will apply if interest exceeds the number of available places.
