The 8am Playbook is a daily news alert from the Research Professional service, providing a snapshot of what’s going on in the HE sector, offering timely analysis of market trends and policy developments. It is aimed at all staff working in the HE sector, both academic and administrative, summarising the key headlines and developments from mainstream and education media, funding bodies, agencies and government departments.
 

• To subscribe to the 8am Playbook, you will first need to register an account on Research Professional. You will receive an email informing you that you are registered and when you access the system it will recognise the University's single sign-on.
  
• Once in the system, click on Email alerts at the top right and tick the tick box for 8am Playbook (see below)
  
• You will then receive the 8am Playbook by email every morning
