Core Work:

• Visa Compliance - to monitor Student visa applications made inside the UK. This involves requesting UKVI visa application evidence and share codes to verify e-visa after the decision has been made.
• Year-round enrolment - document verification and enrolment of students outside of the main enrolment period, making sure provisionally enrolled students hold a correct visa type for their course, chasing students for any missing documents and sending reminders to attend their Right To Study appointment.
• Right to Study checks - document verification and enrolment of international students during the main enrolment in September and January.
• Processing documents submitted, all year round, to Student Immigration and Compliance by students via our webform or email.

Additional Work:

• Live chat - providing general information and guidance to applicants from overseas about student visa and immigration matters
• VCAS Teams channel - owner of the channel, managing memberships and pending requests, making sure any posts and queries from the members are answered in a timely manner or signposted to appropriate staff.
• Answering student and/or staff queries that come into our immigration service inbox, and managing any escalation needed.
