Length of project/engagement: 1 month (repeated yearly)

Why this approach: In the lead up to the main Christmas Lights Switch On, we aim to build excitement within our campus community (predominantly students), get them involved in Christmas-themed events in the run-up to the Switch On, enjoy Christmas-themed food and drink offers at our retail outlets, and contribute to our community Christmas messages. Christmas at Warwick not only builds excitement for the festive season, particularly for students who are experiencing Christmas in the UK for the first time, but it also contributes to students’ sense of community and belonging on campus, enhancing their overall university experience.
