This award teaches you:
Confidence to enter the pool safely, how to move around the pool, and basic core aquatic skills (entries, exits, buoyancy, balance and aquatic breathing).

This award teaches you:
The skills to start swimming independently over short distances (5-10 metres) without floatation equipment and we recommend you try the Swim England Adult Distance Awards (5, 10 and 25 metres).

Be a better swimmer
This award teaches you:
The skills to swim 400m independently, the confidence to try other pool activities (Aquacise or lane swimming), and we recommend you try the Swim England Adult Distance Award (50, 100 and 250 metres).
Lessons take place in deep water (2m)
Be a master swimmer
This award teaches you:
Confidence to join the Masters section of swimming club, advanced swimming skills to be able to compete at different levels/sports (triathlon, open water swimming and lane swimming) and we recommend you try the Swim England Distance Awards (800 metres and 1 mile).
