You are responsible for your health. The Warwick Sport team are committed to helping you use and enjoy the facilities and services we offer our customers. With this in mind, we have carefully considered what we can reasonably expect of each other:

Our commitment to you:

  • We will respect your personal decision and allow you to make your own choices about the exercises you can carry out. However we ask you not to exercise beyond what you consider to be your own abilities.
  • We will make every reasonable effort to make sure our equipment and facilities are in a safe condition for you to use and enjoy.
  • We will take all reasonable steps to make sure our team are qualified to fitness and Royal Life Saving Society industry standards.
  • If you tell us you have a disability which causes you difficulties in accessing our equipment and facilities, we will endeavour to make reasonable adjustments to enable you to utilise the facilities.

Your commitment to us:

  • You should not exercise beyond your own abilities. If you know or are concerned that you have a medical condition which might interfere with you exercising safely, before you use our facilities and equipment you should get advice from a relevant medical professional and follow that advice.
  • You should make yourself aware of any rules and instructions, including warning notices.
  • Exercise carries its own risks. You should not carry out any activities which you have been told are not suitable for you.
  • You should let us know immediately if you feel unwell when using our facilities or equipment. Our team are not medically qualified but there will always be a person available within the Sports Centre who has had first aid training.
  • Members are requested to promptly report any damage caused or observed to any facilities or equipment for health and safety purposes.

My use of the pool facilities during my visit involves certain risks, including but not limited to:

  • The risk of injury resulting from possible malfunction of the pool equipment;
  • The risk of injuries resulting from tripping or falling over obstacles in the pool area;
  • The risk of other injuries resulting from participating in any action in the pool.
