Warwick Community Respect Programme

Welcome to the Warwick Community Respect Programme. This resource has been designed by Warwick students to help you understand what is expected of you as a member of the Warwick Community. It outlines acceptable and unacceptable behaviours specifically in the Warwick context and supports students to foster a positive community that promotes dignity, respect, health and wellbeing. Building a safe, inclusive and positive environment is everyone’s responsibility. This resource introduces you to four students who all have questions about how they can ensure they have a safe, positive experience at Warwick and shows you what to do if you or someone you know needs help.

The Warwick Community Respect Programme is available to everyone via Moodle. Either click on the link https://moodle.warwick.ac.uk/course/view.php?id=26122 or log on to Moodle@Warwick and search Warwick Community Respect and complete the short interactive programme.

At Warwick we listen, we care and we’re always here for you. If you have any questions or would like to discuss anything please get in touch:

The Warwick Community Respect Programme is a pilot and we plan to develop the resource to include sections addressing racism, hate crime and harassment. There is an opportunity to leave feedback on Moodle and we would appreciate any comments to help inform the future development of the resource.

We would like staff to encourage their students (undergraduate and postgraduate) to complete the programme and to promote the resource to colleagues in their department - for example at departmental induction activities or on webpages. Please feel free to get in touch with Annunziata Videtta - A dot Videtta at warwick dot ac dot uk if you have any questions.
