On Wednesday 2 October, University House will be closed to students in response to a planned demonstration on campus. The only exception will be if you have written confirmation of an appointment. This includes the Learning Grids, which will close temporarily, and we ask that you instead use the manyother study spaces available across campus.
All WMG buildings will also move to a single point of entry from today. Please note that all WMG buildings will be closed from 6pm on Tuesday 1 October and Friday 4 October. All WMG buildings will also be closed over the weekend and access will not be permitted or possible. Please look out for any local communications from your departments.
The Community Safety Team will provide support if the demonstration moves across campus. You may be asked for your University ID to enter some buildings or asked to use different routes than normal. Please rest assured that these measures are in place to help the University continue its normal activity and above all, keep everyone safe and secure.
All students have access to support mechanisms at Warwick, including speaking to our Wellbeing and Student Support Link opens in a new windowteam or your personal tutor. If you have any concerns, remember that you can also report these confidentially to Report and SupportLink opens in a new window.
