Updated UKVI guidance on post-study work visa eligibility

This is relevant to all students applying for or are currently holding a Student Visa (including Tier 4 visa).

In view of continued disruption to international travel, the Home Office UKVI has recently updated the coronavirus concession policy regarding eligibility for the 2-year Graduate Route visa. Detailed information is available on the Arrival webpage: https://warwick.ac.uk/coronavirus/students/arrival

The main change is that, only one-year Master's students and final year students (i.e., anyone graduating in 2021) are required to be in the UK on or before 6 April 2021 and must complete the final part of their studies in the UK. Anyone who does not graduate in 2021 (e.g., 1st year or 2nd year Undergraduate or research students) can spend the whole of academic year 2020/21 outside the UK studying remotely without affecting their eligibility for the Graduate Route. More information about the Graduate Route visa can be found on Student Immigration website.

Please note that this does not change the University's physical arrival deadline if you started your course remotely since the autumn of 2020 and have not yet travelled to the UK.
