Student Opportunity

Overview

Student Opportunity is here to help you connect with employers, develop your skills and confidence, create the career that’s right for you, gain international experience, and build your global network through a wide range of opportunities.

Alongside studying for your degree, Student Opportunity provides:

Employer Events
Join in-person and virtual events and meet a wide range of UK and international employers and alumni offering graduate roles and internships.

 Careers Support
Our careers team provide appointments and workshops to help you explore career options, build your CV, make applications and prepare for interviews.

 Skills Development
Develop and showcase the skills employers look for through the Warwick Award; grow your confidence with the Thrive personal development programme; carry out a research project supported by a Warwick academic through the Undergraduate Research Support Scheme. Take part in the Intercultural training programme and feel empowered to work effectively with people from different cultures through a range of interactive workshops and activities.

 Work Experience
Find internships, placements and work experience, with support from the WorkReady Toolkit. Access the Work Experience Bursary to support unpaid work experience. Apply to take part in TeamWork, to work directly with a global employer on a real-world project, and build skills as you tackle business challenges and collaborate online with students from international universities.

 Study, work or volunteer abroad
