We have a range of events throughout the year to help you gather information about future career paths and what support you can receive on the way.

Careers fairs and sector events are open to all year groups and provide you with opportunities to engage with employers face to face and learn about graduate, work experience or internship opportunities.

Employer presentations give you the opportunity to hear from contacts within specific organisations about their industry and Skills sessions help you to develop skills for the recruitment process.

Panorama and Chancellors Suite, Top Floor, Rootes Building

The Autumn Fair is the largest event of the year and features 80 high-profile recruiters from a diverse range of sectors. This fair offers you an early opportunity to meet with employers, gather valuable information about internship and graduate opportunities and to research your future career choices.

The Business, Finance & Consultancy Fair is a dynamic and informative event, providing you with a great opportunity to network with around 80 employers from the sectors, as well as the chance to discuss your career ideas and how to get the best from your day with your Student Opportunity team.

The Law Fair provides you with a great opportunity to network with over 60 employers and professional/public bodies from the sector. At the event you will have the chance to identify the prospects available in the legal sector; to compare and contrast, and learn more about the various career paths that are open to you.

The Engineering, Science & Technology Fair, features around 65 high-profile recruiters. This event is open to all students interested in a careers within the Engineering, Science & Technology sectors. The organisations attending range from large multinationals through to SMEs and you will find a selection of industries represented at the fair.

This Fair is organised by Warwick, plus partner Universities (including Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham, Bristol, Bath, Oxford, Lancaster and Aston Universities), and it will enable you to meet both UK and China recruiters with graduate roles in China. The event will also include a panel presentation about the current Chinese job market; a session on visas; plus a series of employer presentations.

Are you looking for a graduate career in China? Are you a current student or did you graduate in 2019 from the University of Warwick? Come and meet with over 50 graduate employers at our second joint UK University Careers Fair, organised by the Universities of Warwick, Birmingham and Nottingham.

The vibrant growth in the West Midlands is creating more and more varied opportunities for Warwick graduates to build a career here. Local businesses of all sizes and specialisms will be promoting graduate level roles and internship/work experience positions.

This fair showcases the widest range of employers; from high profile graduate recruiters to local SMES across a variety of industries, Employers will be promoting graduate schemes with early opening dates so you can apply for roles over the summer holiday. You can also find out about work experience and internships and ways to explore your career options further.

Sector events

These events attract employers from specific sectors such as arts and culture, creative, media and publishing, journalism, politics, investment banking and technology. They offer opportunities to hear from speakers, usually Warwick alumni who can share their experiences, and also to network.

You will have the opportunity to engage with national and local organisations, individuals and Warwick alumni, media course providers and professional bodies working within the creative industries

Come along to Investment Banking Uncovered for a sector insight and informative evening that will include presentations led by division representatives from a number of investment banks. Following the talks will be the chance to network as you prepare effectively for a future career in Investment.

This event is for students who are looking to work in the Engineering sector. The event provides the opportunity to listen to numerous short presentations from a variety of companies and to network in order to explore the numerous opportunities available in the sector.

Tue 29 Oct 2019, 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM

This event will help you gain an insight into working within the public sector. You will have the opportunity to hear from a range of speakers from organisations which are publically funded, from central or local government, executive and statutory bodies and private sector organisations engaged in work within the public sector.

Tue 5 Nov 2019, 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM

This event will help you gain an understanding of opportunities to work within the fast-paced world of technology within this sector. Following the talks, employers will be waiting to network with you and answer any questions you may have about their opportunities.
