Teachers can now register their post-16 students for the British Biology Olympiad (23^rd – 31^st January). The online competition challenges students with an interest in biology to expand their talents, and also provides a means of selecting a team to represent the UK at the International Biology Olympiad. This is a wonderful opportunity for Year 11/12 students to learn valuable research and presentations skills, engage with current academic debate, meet world leading academics and get a taste of the vibrant and engaging life at the University of Warwick

This event is modelled on the popular BBC television series The Apprentice. Year 9 pupils will be divided into small groups and will be set the challenge of producing an advertising campaign to encourage foreign tourist boards to invest in their company and the local area.

For teachers of KS2 and KS3. Focusing on the national curriculum needs in KS2 and KS3, Laying Firm Foundations is a practical programming course which reinforces the basic constructs and data structures using freely available software

We offer a range of one off events for Year 10 and/or Year 11 students for those who may be interested in pursuing a business/economics degree or a career in the financial sector.

The Central WP team provide support to departments as faculty link officers. Tonight marks a bi-annual training event where the WP team train current students who are going to be representing their departments by working with young people as departmental ambassadors within schools and during on-campus events. Over 50 students are expected to attend tonight’s training and ensure that they are cool, calm and confident when representing their departments with prospective applicants.
