Please note that due to the current Covid-19 pandemic the University has suspended all non-teaching on-campus activities until the end of December 2020, with a review scheduled to take place at the end of October.
Requests to attend in-school events will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, as we continue to monitor Government advice and ensure activities are in-line with the University's own Health and Safety Guidance. We are keen to continue our work with schools and happy to discuss alternative methods of activity delivery.
The Widening Participation and Outreach team support schools and colleges through delivering talks, attending careers fairs and speaking to students considering higher education. We visit non-selective state secondary schools in the local area who have a high proportion of students from widening participation backgrounds. This includes students who would be the first in their family to go on to higher education, students from low-participation neighbourhoods and students from less advantaged backgrounds.
If your school does not fall within this criteria you can contact our Student Recruitment team and request a visit to campus or an in-school visit. Please visit their webpages for more information.
