University Explorers

Building confidence and curiosity – a unique campus adventure for Year 6 children in care

University Explorers is led by the University of Warwick’s Widening Participation & Social Mobility team. Over four exciting days on campus, pupils take part in fun university taster sessions delivered by academics, while being supported by our trained student ambassadors, who guide activities, encourage teamwork and share their own experience of university life.

The programme is delivered in partnership with Virtual Schools in Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull and is specially designed for children in care, offering opportunities to build confidence, make friends, and discover what university life is all about.
