When were you at Warwick? What did you study? Who were you your tutors?
It was 2000 that I was at the University. I studied for MA in International Relations. I took Theory of International Relations (Brian White), Trade Politics (Dominique Kelly) and European Integration (Wyn Grant).

Do you have any fond memories?
I have unique memories while I was student at Warwick. It was such an international environment that I had the opportunity to meet so many friends from all over the world. In addition to this, I had the chance to listen conferences by many important authors, including Edward Said and Jürgen Habermas.

Where did you live while you were at Warwick?
I used to live at Lakeside Residences which I find to be the best and most comfortable place to live while studying at Warwick

Were you a member of any societies?
Unfortunately, I could not find enough time to be a member of any society during one year of study at Warwick.

What are you doing now?
It has been only eight months since I moved from Istanbul to Marmaris. I am self-employed and having a relaxed life here in Marmaris.

Why did you decide to become an alumni ambassador?
I guess I have enough time and energy to become an alumni ambassador. I thought it would be a good experience to meet and welcome Warwick graduates from all over the world.

What kind of people make up the Warwick alumni community in your area? Are they expatriates or locals? Do they work in a particular sector?
Frankly saying, Marmaris is a very well known tourism region in Turkey. Therefore, most of the alumni community comes only for holiday in Marmaris and they are mostly expatriates.
