Many backgrounds, one team

Welcome from Matt Ferguson

Climate change, pandemic research, conflict resolution, designing sustainable materials and environments – identifying solutions for these problems is the challenge for the second half of the 21st century. Warwick’s researchers are world leaders in all of these areas, and philanthropy and alumni support are vital to empowering them to solve global challenges.

Join us and you’ll be helping young people from less represented backgrounds thrive at university, engaging our alumni community to support current students and generating support for truly brilliant research. We’re looking for stand-out individuals to help us drive our ambitious fundraising plans as well as helping us build long lasting relationships with our excellent alumni and supporter community.

I hope these pages give you a real feel for the energy within our Development and Alumni Engagement team. If you’re looking for a role where you will directly make a difference to people’s lives, we look forward to meeting you.

Matt Ferguson, Director of Development and Alumni Engagement

Society doesn't stand still - and neither do we.

We’re very excited as we enter the early planning stages of a new major philanthropic campaign, which will significantly scale the ambition for the University’s fundraising and engagement activity. As a team, we have a major role to play in helping break down barriers to education and advancing research addressing some of our planet’s biggest challenges.

The University of Warwick is investing in our team and over the next three years, our team will be doubling in size. There will be positions in all areas of Philanthropy, Alumni Engagement and Development Services at all levels.
