Played in the staff squash league and was on the MBA staff/student council for the latter part of academic year

What's your job?
VP Technical for a start up seismic exploration company called Polarcus that is based in Dubai. The founders of the company were based in Dubai and the central location makes sense for a world wide exploration company

Why did you decide to become an alumni ambassador?
It is a good way to keep in touch with other alumni and also to help raise and maintain the profile of WBS

What kind of people make up the Warwick alumni community in your area? Are they expatriates or locals?
Dubai has very diverse alumni community of expats from a variety of sectors

Do you run any alumni events?
The Dubai alumni committee tries to run events at least quarterly. The turn out is somewhat varied, mainly due to the international nature of the jobs that the alumni tend to do

Have you been back to Warwick recently?
Unfortunately I have not seen the campus for a few years but must try and make some time to go as it would be good to see the new WBS buildings.

Contact David if you want to attend or suggest an event in in Dubai or want to make contact with the alumni community there.
