Competition  

Our aim with this project has been to create an inclusive and vibrant student community that we can bring with us into our new Faculty of Arts Building. We thought a great way to start engaging with our new space would be to produce some creative responses over the Summer that can be displayed within the new building when it opens in September.  

We would like you to respond to the following question: 

‘What do the arts mean to you?’ 

Now, we know this is a very broad question, but that’s the point! The departments and interests within the Faculty are many and diverse, and we want responses to reflect this. You may want to consider the arts in relation to this new building, and the opportunities it will provide for you, or you may wish to reflect on engagement with the arts that you’ve already experienced at Warwick. Or you could take the question in a completely different direction.  

We’ll welcome responses in the following mediums: 

• Artwork 
• Photography 
• Film  
• Poetry 

• Creative Writing 
• Sculpture  
• Dance, monologues, theatre (please provide a recording)
