Student Creative Assistant Opportunity

Calling all students! Are you interested in being part of a creative, collaborative, digital project that aims to enhance the student pre-arrival experience? Are you interested in learning more about design thinking and digital media creation? We are currently looking for Student Creative Assistants to take part in an exciting new project: 'Preparing Pre-Arrival Arts Faculty Students for the Warwick Student Experience'. This project aims to improve student engagement and experience before arrival at University, and support student’s academic induction. Working together, the project leads and a team of Student Creative Assistants will develop an online Moodle resource full of myth-busting information about academic life and learning in the Faculty of Arts. Student Creative Assistants will be paid for their work on the project.

 

We are also looking for student participants for a focus group which aims to find out more about the student pre-arrival experience on the 29th May 3-4.30 (pizza will be available)!

Preparing Pre-Arrival Arts Faculty Students for the Warwick Student Experience

Dr Kathryn Woods (Arts Faculty Director of Student Experience) and Dr Damien Homer (Arts Faculty Widening Participation Co-ordinator) have recently been awarded funding by the Warwick International Higher Education Academy (WIHEA) for a project which aims to support student engagement and the student experience before arrival at University right through to academic induction. Working together, the project leads and a team of Student Creative Assistants will develop an online Moodle resource full of myth-busting information about academic life and learning in the Faculty of Arts.
